CARPENTER

SR Fine Home Builders is hiring Lead Carpenters with extensive residential construction experience to join our professional team. You will be building, remodeling, and/or restoring luxury custom homes throughout Rhode Island. Must be highly skilled with cabinetry, trim work, doors, floors, countertops, interior framing, windows, etc.

Compensation range commensurate with experience $40,000 - $70,000 per year .

Assistant

project manager

The Assistant Project Manager works in the office and in the field supporting the Project Managers and Job Foremen helping to ensure efficient production, effective timelines, client satisfaction and quality control. Job duties include but are not limited to:

  • Estimating

  • Project Management

  • Coordinate scheduling with subcontractors

  • Material take-offs, sourcing and ordering of materials

  • Establish and continually evaluate job site priorities

  • Problem solve; alter schedule to minimize down time or assign workers to another areas of work if necessary

  • Attend all company/client/sub-contract meetings

  • Record meeting minutes and distribute them to project team

Job Type: Full-time, 40 Hours per week, Monday-Friday 7:00am-3:30pm

Salary: $22.00-$34.00 Hourly

Required Education: A Degree in a related field such as construction management, building science, architecture or engineering and at least one year of experience as an Assistant Project Manager or Project Coordinator OR practical experience as a Lead Carpenter/Foreman or general sub-contractor.

Required Experience:

  • Superior knowledge of construction methods and techniques

  • Strong working knowledge of related building trades, building materials, assemblies, tools and operational machinery

  • Ability to read blueprints

  • Experience with Microsoft, Adobe & Auto Cad
