A historic East Side home, reimagined in collaboration with San Francisco designer Michael Booth for his family, blends Federal-style heritage with bold, contemporary design.
Set on Providence’s East Side, this extensive renovation balanced traditional craftsmanship with a modern sense of openness. The first floor was reconfigured for flow and function—expanding the kitchen, relocating the powder room, and opening twenty-seven doorways to create a light, connected plan. Upstairs, two bedrooms were combined to form a new primary suite with added guest accommodations. Executed with precision and restraint, the result feels both timeless and renewed.
