Defined by restraint and craftsmanship, the renovation of this historically significant 1800s farmhouse blends modern function with timeless character.
Set on more than eight acres, this country estate underwent a major restoration following fire damage to the rear of the home, rebuilding the façade, porch, mudroom, and kitchen. Every detail—from hand-nailed red pine floors to custom cabinetry echoing historic farms—was designed to feel original to the house. To ensure lasting integrity and support the weight of a handcrafted French range, the home was lifted to pour a new concrete foundation beneath the kitchen addition, preserving its legacy for generations to come.

A custom wine rack—tucked into the corner of the kitchen cabinetry—adds both detail and dimension, turning a functional feature into a subtle design highlight.

Lining the entry to the kitchen, a custom-built china cabinet bridges the home’s historic detailing with newly restored spaces.
