A meticulous restoration brings new life to one of Narragansett’s most storied landmarks.
Originally built in 1875 as the summer cottage Sea Lawn and later transformed into The Reading Room, this storied structure has endured fire, relocation, and a century of coastal weather. Working alongside Leslie Architects, our team completed a full restoration—replicating its curved ocean-facing windows and carefully reinforcing original materials to meet modern standards. Today, The Reading Room continues to stand as a testament to enduring design and Narragansett’s rich architectural heritage.

Extra care went into replicating the curved windows — built to withstand coastal conditions while remaining faithful to the property's heritage.
